The GOgroove has some issues that I've listed as a con, but that's mostly related to my project. I connected a PAC Audio 3.5 mm ground loop isolator between my tape deck’s new “line-input” and the GOgroove. I tried FM transmitters, tape-deck adapters, and now finally I hacked my tape deck and soldered in a 3.5 mm input. I imagine it would be sufficient for most typical headphones. Overall Review: I didn't test the power with and headphones. I would have preferred a more ubiquitous connector, Micro USB perhaps.
It's easy to put back together.Īnother con is the charging port is specific to this device. It would probably survive a few drops, but might come apart. Volume buttons feel backwards to me with the lowering volume on the right. And it "beeps" too frequently when the battery is getting low. I would have preferred a true on/off switch, and a feature button for the other things. You hold it for 2 seconds to pick-up/return a call, 5 seconds to power on/off, and 8 seconds to enter pairing mode.

It has full stereo sound, and sounds fairly well.Ĭons: The on/off switch is the "Go" button which looks like a logo on the front of this device. The track forward and back buttons work for music, but are the same size as the volume button.
What I'm happy with is that it was easy to pair, and it stays connected during use. Pros: Very small, light weight (about the same as a pencil), good battery life at 8 hours, sounds ok, the electronics seems fairly well built for the price.
